Yasmine Jameelah is an African and Native American entrepreneur, journalist, and wellness advocate creating healing spaces for Black people through Transparent & Black. In less than three years, Jameelah has grown the digital community to over 80,000 people, with a reach of over 3.2 million. The Jersey native's work has been featured by VICE, Refinery 29, Vaseline, Pop Sugar Fitness, SELF, and Girlfriend Collective. As a journalist, she’s focused her work on mental health awareness, the Black maternal mortality crisis, and body positivity. Yasmine is dedicated to reclaiming space for marginalized communities.
